Irving, Tx.-based server-based technology provider 2X Software Ltd. released the latest version of its ApplicationServer that should cut application deployment time, administration overheads and costs for the IT department.
Version six includes features new functionality including the 2X Web Access Portal, single sign-on, CPU load balancing, multiple server farm access via SSL, advanced universal printing for terminal services.
2X ApplicationServer allows users to publish and manage any Windows application on remote Windows, Mac OS or Linux desktops. Installing an application once on the Microsoft Terminal Server eliminates the need to deploy it on every user PC.
