UPDATE: PeopleSoft pushes latest products

Application software maker PeopleSoft Inc. announced Monday several new enterprise software offerings, most notably new additions for HRMS 8.8, its human resources management suite.

PeopleSoft placed aim at the burgeoning Incentive Management vertical with PeopleSoft Sales Incentive Management (SIM), an automated administration solution for “High Tech and Industrial organizations.”

Enterprise incentive software is becoming increasingly important to organizations – the solution is designed to tie business goals to incentive plans, allowing executives to see how employees have done from a sales standpoint, said Jason Averbook, director of global product marketing at Peoplesoft.

PeopleSoft also launched an online employee training and development solution, dubbed Enterprise Learning Management. The two new solutions are available now and are a subset of its Human Capital Management (HCM) family, PeopleSoft said.

The HRMS 8.8 solutions are now available and include PeopleSoft HelpDesk for Human Resources, a real-time HR management module; PeopleSoft Mobile Time Management, a reporting tool for mobile workers; and PeopleSoft ePerformance, a goal-oriented tracking tool for employees.

The Pleasanton, Calif., company also announced that it has extended its Global Payroll management solution within new templates to include the following countries: India, New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore, the Netherlands and Brazil.

Pricing for the modules and applications are based on a “value-based” model, depending on the organization size, vertical and number of employees, Averbook said.

The company is on the Web at www.peoplesoft.com.
