Microsoft Corp.’s new Windows 8 operating system has generated some controversy, with a tile interface that some like or love, depending on the device it runs on.
SAP AG has no problems with it, though, for this week it announced it will soon push out six Win8 mobile apps that can run on tablets or smart phones covering enterprise functions such as training, recruiting and sales. Chris Kanaracus of IDG News says the news shows how closely SAP works with Microsoft.
The announcement said the apps will be available through Windows and SAP online stores.
