New topic for: So you think you can blog?

Good morning fellow blogging enthusiasts!

As promised, we have a new suggested topic for our blogging contest. Remember that you can still contribute blog posts about our previous topic, IT security, but if you’re looking for some new inspiration, this question may be just for you:

“Are organizations too worried about data sovereignty to take full advantage of cloud computing?”

Feel free to be creative with how you answer this question. A typical blog post length is approximately 500 words, but you may want to consider other ways of answering this, such as a slideshow, or incorporating videos. Keep in mind that our readers are CIOs, IT manager and administrators.

Your creativity can increase your chances at winning a Canon Mobile Scanner for best use of media or most visually appealing blog post. You also have a chance at winning a Dropcam, VOIP system, or Pioneer iPod/Android car deck. Simply send your blog submission to me at hahmed@itwc.ca to get it published and put you in the running towards winning one of these great prizes.

You can review the rules here on how you can participate to win.

Good luck!
